Boston Remodeling Pros was founded in 2020 by a team of Boston-area contractors who had spent years in the construction industry and identified a persistent gap in the market: Greater Boston homeowners needed a kitchen specialist who truly understood New England's distinctive housing stock — not a national franchise applying standardized solutions to triple-deckers and brownstones that were built over a century ago with their own rules, proportions, and challenges.
The founding team had collectively worked on hundreds of Boston-area renovation projects and saw the same frustration repeated: homeowners choosing the "best" name or the cheapest bid, only to discover mid-project that their contractor didn't understand local permitting requirements, couldn't navigate the ISD permit process efficiently, and wasn't equipped to handle the structural surprises common in Boston's older housing stock.
